The first track welcomes you with a playful piano, delicately interplaying with a firm forward-driven funky ‘feeling’. At times an ominous synth looms, its finely tuned chord progression grabbing listeners by the balls. Your typical break-glass-in-case-of-emergency floorbanger.

A2 TIM WOESTENENK – GREGOIRE
This soundscape provides a warm intermezzo in between the four-to-the-floor frenzy of the surrounding tracks. Guitar strings are accompanied by a somewhat unstable-sounding yet soothing synthesizer.

B1 TIM WOESTENENK – HOT NIGHTS
This track lingers on by means of a catchy melody and steady beat, motivating you with subtle perpetual percussion. Dormant emotions within the bass-line never fail to entertain until – suddenly – you are swept away by a sweltering vocal, reminiscent of those hot and sweaty nights of yesteryears. Guaranteed to provide a slow-burning eruption on any dancefloor.

B2 TIM WOESTENENK – I NEED LOVE
‘I Need Love’ slowly presses itself on you, combining another soothing vocal with crafty melodies and a bittersweet bass-line. In spite of it’s appeasing nature the track keeps you uplifted by delicately throwing percussive patterns at you. This merger of melancholy and inconspicuous drumming is capable of stunning onlookers with its ethereal beauty.

B. SAN PROPER – BERLIN AFTERLIFE
Many have tried to capture the timeless essence of the free-spirited yet raw metropolis that is Berlin. Mr. Proper succeeds remarkably well, by laying down an emotive reflection of both the city and it’s afterlife. Awanto 3 and Tom Trago are already familiar to you on Studio Soulrocks previous release. We would like to welcome a new name to the label: Marco Sterk, a.k.a Young Marco! An Amsterdam based producer and DJ with two mind blowing releases on his name, ‘’Move Fast’’ and ‘’High Tide’’.

The trio teamed up and with Young Marco’s contribution they produced  a track which will give you, literally, a ‘Physical Thrill’. With a whispering voice in the background and synths that sound high end throughout the track, this is set to bring you to higher grounds.

B1. TOM TRAGO, YOUNG MARCO & AWANTO 3 – PHYSICAL THRILL (AXEL BOMAN REMIX)
A refreshing down tempo remix of ‘’Physical Thrill’’ by Axel Boman. As a producer, Boman releases warm and deep tracks as you can hear in ‘’Purple Drank’’ or ‘’Holy Love’’.

In ‘’Physical Thrill’’ Axel Boman adds that same warmth and roughness in the already thrilling track. Nothing further to add then, grab a drink, press play, sit down and enjoy.

B2. TOM TRAGO, YOUNG MARCO & AWANTO 3 – PHYSICAL THRILL (GENIUS OF TIME REMIX)
Studio Soulrock is proud to have this Swedish trio a.k.a Genius Of Time on StudioS005 release. With various known tracks like ‘’Gliese 581g’’ and ‘’Same Old Place’’, the dreamteam turned their version of ‘’Physical Thrill’’ into a organic deep house track that’s definitely worth more than just one listen.

Awanto 3 a.k.a. Steven de Peven who appeared on the earlier released EP ‘Studios002′, is releasing a playful and freakishly good track on StudioS004. With Awanto 3’s earlier EP called ‘’For Five’’, containing downtempo deep house tracks, Awanto 3 has proven that he is also able to produce a funky floorfiller. Thanks to the fat kickdrum in the middle, this thrack will make your body shake, allover.

B1. AARDVARCK | TAPE MIX (ORIGINAL)
Mike Kivits a.k.a. Aardvarck, has been busy in the scene for almost 26 years. This man has seen it all, except for one thing: Aardvarck is making his debut for the first time on Studio Soulrock label! Known for his hip-hop and dubstep influenced tracks, like his last album ‘’Gloom’’ with Dutch hip-hop artist Kubus. ‘’Tape Mix’’ shows us his rocking techno side.  The track can best be described as energetic and uptempo with its flowing synths, leaving the crowd in a mood to party.

B2. TOM TRAGO & AWANTO 3 | GOOD OLD DAYS (ORIGINAL)
Tom Trago and Awanto 3 make  this track live up to it’s name, ‘’Good Old Days’’. It has that old-school, laid back house-vibe to it. Both artists are known for their in depth grooves and gritty tunes, ‘’Good Old Days’’ will take you a long, long way. Enjoy.
